Geocaching and 4 wheeling

Most weekends I like getting out of town (SLC) if possible and outside for awhile. Last weekend I went to Idaho to see some really good friends and to play with my brother. All Saturday afternoon we went geocaching. You wouldn't believe how much fun it is! The last "hunt" that we went on took us 3 hours and lots of sight seeing around the potato fields in the southern area of Rexburg. Below are some photos of the final destination, according to the GPS. By the way, never believe a GPS when it tells you to go through a field that has no road..

Cache destination: Looking towards Rexburg, the Tetons are behind us.

Finding the cache.

We were attempting one handed photo taking.

An improved picture, we are on a pile of rocks in the middle of some farmer's field.

To top the weekend off we went to a Guitars Unplugged concert that I'm sure made me deaf for a couple days. It was an awesome weekend.

The weekend before I had the opportunity to try 4 wheeling for the first time, below is a pic of the area we went. Pretty amazing.

Have a good one!

  1. Lyle says he misses that Idaho/Montana country so thanks for posting some pictures to help make us more homesick. Glad you aren't too far from the family and fun. Hope you are adjusting to SLC as well.
